Jamsil Sports Complex

About

Olympic Stadium aside, there are also various indoor and outdoor sports fields, two swimming pools, baseball field, gym, golf range, ping-pong table, Olympic Exhibition Hall, and an ice rink, for all active professional or amateur sportsmen and training students seeking good quality facilities.

The main Olympic Stadium was the home of the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 10th Asian Games in 1986 as well as the 24th Seoul Olympic Games.
It is mostly recognized as the home of the semi-finals of the World Cup event. Alongside sports and games, concerts and other dynamic cultural events including Elton John’s Concert, The Promise musical, and Carmen opera were also held in a grand scale indicating that Olympic Stadium had long been expanding as a significant ground for major cultural and international shows or events.

The Olympic Exhibition displays the profound meaning of Olympics to its history, preparation, and the scene in a visual and catchy arrangement. In addition, it explores its diplomatic and political effects along with its social and cultural influences. Nearby attractions are Han River Citizen’s Park at the further end of the complex, and Asia Park across the street at Sports Complex Subway Station Exits 1,2,3 and 4.
