Han River Water Taxi

Han River Water Taxi first made its appearance in October of 2007 as a new method of transportation of Seoul. In terms of touring the Han River, there had been the inconvenience of having to wait until a certain time to enjoy touring the river. The new water taxi has alleviated such inconvenience by placing 15 stops along the river so that passengers can choose where to ride and where to get off. In other hands, people can not enjoy touring the Han River while moving to the destination of their choice. Furthermore, it may be faster than riding the subway or the bus, and may be cheaper than riding a land taxi if more people ride at once (up to 7).

◆Different Kinds of Water Taxi

Water Taxi can be divided into the following 3 categories. If looking for tourism, choose ‘Customized Tourism.’
・ Customized Tourism : Able to choose the departing station as well as the destination. Reservation is required.
・ Connecting : Goes through the stations of choice. Reservation is required.
・ Office shuttle : Shuttle water taxi which operates according to a set schedule. It is limited to Weekday morning rush hour and the evening rish how. Fare is 5,000won (one-way). Reservation required.

Customized Tourism and Connecting do not allow additional passengers to ride anytime during the trip. The fare is set to the distance, not the number of passengers. The office shuttle water taxi is quite similar to the over ground bus system.

◆How to reserve for Customized Tourism

By phone	On the day：Cash or T-money before boarding, redit card à for tourists Prior： Wire the fare ahead of time to designated account à needs a Korean mobile phone.
Online	Only Koreans able to register online

Travelers who do not have Korean mobile phones should make reservation on the day via phone. Cash, T-money or credit card can be used on the day before boarding. Foreign language service is not available, so English speakers should ask for assistance from a Korean friend of hotel staff members.

◆Transportation Method (Yeouinaru Wharf)

１。Come out of Exit 3 of Yeouinaru Station on line 5.
２. There should be a visible water taxi sign, so follow the sign downstairs.
３. There are further signs (in Korean) so follow them

(１) Take the bus from Exit 5 of Shincheon station, Line 2
(２) Take the bus from Exit 5·6 of Jamsil Station of 2 and 8.
