Korea Grand Sale Returns for a Third Year
The Korea Grand Sale is a nationwide shopping extravaganza designed to help foreign tourists enjoy their Korean shopping experience to the fullest! As an overseas guest in Korea, you are eligible for special product discounts, free admission to leading attractions, and even free gifts! About 24,000 companies and organizations are participating, including many of your favorite brands.
Kick-off and cultural events held throughout the festival at Myeongdong
The bonanza will kick-off with a concert for tourists featuring world-raging K-POP stars throughout the festival on January 11 in Myeongdong. In addition, the event center in Myeongdong will hold various events designed for tourists so they may discover contemporary Korean fashion, traditional food and culture.
K-Shuttle Buses will take you to hotspots in Korea
In addition, during the festival, foreigners will be able to utilize different shuttle buses ensuring convenient transportation. A nationwide circle line pay-bus for foreigners only, K-shuttle, will be operated with two courses: southwest course (Seoul→Buyeo→Jeonju→Yeosu→Suncheon→Busan→Seoul) and southeast course (Seoul→Pyeongchang→Gangneung→Wonju→Andong→Gyeongju→Busan→Seoul).
Free shuttles through Seoul and Gyeonggi-do
There will also be a free shuttle buses; the Gyeonggi Shuttle Bus will circle major tourist attractions in Gyeonggi-do from Seoul and the Gangbuk-Gangnam Shuttle Bus will circle Gangbuk (Itaewon, Myeong-dong, Dongdaemun) and Gangnam (Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil, Apgujeong-dong Rodeo Street).
One More Night Promotion
Korea Grand Sale 2013 will offer “One More Night Promotion” where foreign tourists staying more than 2~4 nights can get one free additional night in fifty top-class hotels across the nation. The participating hotels will offer additional benefits for customers such as discounts on dining and amenities during the festival.

1) Welcome at the Incheon Internationational Airport
This is the welcome event for international tourists arriving in Korea during the 2013 Korea Grand Sale. The excitement begins the moment you arrive in Korea.

2) Korea Grand Sale Kick-off at Myeongdong
The favorite destination among international shoppers.

Location : KEB PLAZA in front of the main branch of Korea Exchange Bank in Myeongdong
Key features : Non-verbal performance and other congratulatory performances, prize drawings, opening ceremony of the “Special Week Event” promotion booth and more
3) Special Weekly Events
Located in Myeongdong, the exclusive promotion booth of the Korea Grand Sale will organize the Big Chance prize draw and hands-on activities based on new themes each week to make your shopping experience in Korea even more enjoyable.
